Takasaki Daruma 12 cm – Traditional Japanese Lucky Charm
The Takasaki Daruma is a traditional craft from Gunma Prefecture, the region that produces the largest number of Daruma dolls in Japan. Its rounded shape symbolizes the spirit of “Nanakorobi Yaoki” (fall down seven times, stand up eight), representing perseverance, determination, and success.
This Daruma is the foundation and signature product of Takeuchi Daruma Shop. One of its most distinctive features is the design of the face: the eyebrows are shaped like a crane and the beard like a turtle — both powerful symbols of longevity and good fortune in Japanese culture. Each piece carries a heartfelt wish for happiness and prosperity.
Place it in your daily living space as a symbol of your goal. When your wish comes true, fill in the second eye as a gesture of gratitude.
